If you would like to get married in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background, then this is the show for you! Voted the "Best Bridal Bouquet Show in the Shenandoah Valley", the George Washington Hotel Bridal Boutique Show will be showcasing wedding venues, accommodations, and wedding professionals from the Blue Ridge Shenandoah Valley.  The George Washington Hotel is a  Wyndham Historic Hotel. From the minute you walk up the marble steps, you know you are experiencing a rare moment of both history and the future. Combining the past and the contemporary times, The George Washington Hotel is breath-taking in all its glory.

Here are highlights of our 2009 show.  Look for exciting news about our 2010. 

This Boutique Bridal Show will focus on Mothers and Daughters and Beauty.  The "Latest Trends in Hair" will showcase Get Great Lengths Hair and a newly opened spa, Studio 141.  These salons are offering an opportunity for six selected brides to have a Formal Up Do or Blow Dry Style as well as a Makeover by one of our Make Up Artists. Two of these Brides will actually get Great Length Hair Extensions.  

The Silver Suitcase Tea  will feature a Fashion Show of Gowns for the Mother of the Bride in the Garden Room by invitation only. Classic Tuxedoes will showcase the latest in formal Tux Attire.  While watching the fashion show, Brides, their Mothers, and Best Friends will listen to presentations by Hunt Country Jewelers as well as see the Latest Trends in Hair and Make up modeled by our selected Brides attending the show. A presentation on the newest happenings for Honeymooners at Sandals Resorts by Alpha Voyages, Inc.  Lux Photography will speak on new Photography Hot Trends. 

The George Washington Hotel is in Downtown Winchester at the beginning of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. With a Grand Ballroom for larger weddings and a Garden Ballroom for small weddings, the George Washington Hotel offers brides a great opportunity to consider this area as your wedding destination.

The Blue Ridge has many wonderful Wedding Venues. Hillbrook Inn, A beautiful Country Hotel in West Virginia. For a serene private setting for your wedding, talk with Hillbrook Inn in Charles Town, West Virginia less than thirty minutes from Winchester and less than an hour from DC.  Looking for the Skyline Drive taking Interstate 66 or scenic Route 340, The Mimslyn Inn is your choice with Forty Four rooms, it offers a true Wedding Destination in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley takes every bride's breath away when she walks in the Gardens.  Guests have an opportunity to enjoy a historic museum setting in the heart of Winchester. 

What about the men attending this event?  Hilton Garden Inn is a great value for rooms but have you considered our rehearsal dinner there.   For many grooms, the pictures are very important to them as well as the bride and you will have a number of photographers to speak to on Sunday.  Winchester Photography covers a number of the Blue Ridge areas and is new to our show this year.

Returning Exhibitors are Sheila's Sweets, Lia Sophia, Full Frame Photography, and Julie Napear Photography.  We are pleased to also welcome new exhibitors including Country Way Flowers and Vacation Village Resorts. We would also welcome Wood Song Studios and Detailed Destinations.  A special thank you to Gala Linens who have provided all the linens you will see at the show.  Are you looking for a unique Bridal Registry  - for not just china but furnishings, decor and accessories, then visit the booth of Ponte Vecchio Living.

The Blue Ridge Bridal Boutique show will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at The George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia. The grand hotel setting is a new one for our area and will showcase what the Valley is all about without out the typical “hustle and bustle” element, allowing guests to have a more enjoyable, relaxing experience.
